Kansai Electric Power Company Incorporated has decided to issue its 13th Swiss Franc denominated straight bonds, and its subscription has started on February 26th in Switzerland.

Please be notified the above mentioned will be the first foreign-currency-denominated straight corporate bonds in about 9 years and 10 months since the issuance of the first Dutch-Guilder-denominated straight corporate bonds on May 30, 1997.
And it will be the first Swiss Franc-denominated straight corporate bonds in about 18 years and 6 months since the issuance of the 11th and 12th Swiss Franc-denominated straight corporate bonds on September 29, 1996.
